Formal, textbook Indonesian is useful on paper. But it's not always the Indonesian you'll hear in a warung, in a group chat, or in an Indonesian movie. That's why I focus on the Indonesian people actually use — everyday expressions, natural vocabulary, and the way Indonesians really communicate.

Indonesian has always been a natural part of my everyday life. I love sharing not only the language, but also the little things that make Indonesian culture special — from everyday expressions and local food to the way people actually communicate.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy making videos, traveling, watching movies, and learning languages myself. Being a language learner has reminded me that progress doesn't happen overnight, and sometimes the hardest part is simply finding the courage to speak. So that's what I hope to give my students: a comfortable space to learn, make mistakes, and enjoy the process of discovering Indonesian.
